Football stakeholders who attended the just concluded Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day in Lagos have showered encomium on the organisers and described the event well educative, enlighten and a platform where coaches and other football stakeholders were being celebrated and appreciated for their good performances in the outgoing year.
The Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day was organised by Alimosho Football Coaches Council to celebrate the coaches, players, teams, club owners, administrators and managers who have done well in their respective clubs in the outgoing year.
Some invited guests who spoke to our correspondent commended the executive members of Alimosho Football Coaches Council led by Samuel Unchenna Eke for the Initiative and congratulated them for the success of the programme.
Chairman Badagry Divisional Football Association BDFA,Dr Martins Osondu said he was impressed with the organisation of Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day and urged other councils in the state to follow suit.
“Honestly Alimosho Football Coaches Council shocked me with this programme.It is a programme that celebrated coaches and other football stakeholders in Alimosho.I must commend the the organisers for this intiative and i believe that other councils would learn from Alimosho Football Coaches Council, “said Osondu who is also a leader of Oto Awori Football Coaches Council.
In his own comment, Leader of Agege Football Coaches Council, Ajayi Olumide Adedapo expressed satisfaction saying that Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day was organised of celebrating coaches who were outstanding in their coaching career.
“Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day was not orgainised for seminar and lecture the coaches alone but also celebrated our coaches and other football stakeholders who had done well in their respective clubs.I congratulate the executive members of Alimosho Football Coaches Council for the success of the Alimosho Day, and i am satisfied with the success of the programme”he said.
Leader of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Samuel Unchenna Eke thanked invited resource persons and other invited guests for honouring their invitation.
He explained that the Alimosho Football Coaches Council Day was organised to appreciate the effort of coaches, players and other football stakeholders who had done well in Alimosho.
He said despite the challenges facing the council, they were able to achieve in the outgoing year and promised better programmes in the year 2024.
Also speaking, vice leader of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Noah Omotunde said the council has done well for its members in the outgoing year and assured more programmes in year 2024.
Meanwhile some of the award recipients expressed delight withbthe award bestowed on them saying that the award would spur them to do well in their respective careers.
In the award presentation, Ogunlade Muiz of Fit2Live Academy won most valuable player of the just concluded U-16 Alimosho Junior League.Kelvin Efe of Samjason won player of The Year.
Samjason FC and Bucknor win club of the year, while Alfred Umoke of Samjason FC won coach of the year.Habeeb Abidemi of Bucknor won manager of the year as Future Stars Queens won club of the year.
