Organisers of the second edition of Football Fiesta announced that 20 teams have confirmed their interest in the competition which begins next month at the Sansan playground,Igando,Alimosho,Lagos.
Tournament Cordinator,Habeeb Bello disclosed that the organisers still need 12 teams to complete the numbers they are looking for in the tournament.
“A lot of teams have shown interest and only few clubs have paid for their registration forms.Presently we have seen 20 teams and we just need 12 teams to make it 32 teams format”he said.
He explained that this year’s edition would be better organised and urged the club owners to come for their registration form.
Bello however urged the teams not to see this competition a do-die affairs noted that any team violates the rules during or after their match would be sanctioned accordingly.
Among the interested clubs are Sansan Boys, Igando FC,Sterling FC,Bucknor FC,Idi All Stars,Quality All Stars,Rocky Stars,Supreme FC,Sammy FC,Future Stars and Bora FC.
Others are Keep Fit FC,Wolves FC,Future guyz FC,Imesan FC,Lake FC,Lapero FC,Rising Stars FC,SWEBIC FC and Royal Stars.
