Organisers Target 32 Teams For Ramadan Cup In Lagos

A total of 32 teams are expected to take part in the forthcoming Igando Ramadan Cup scheduled to kick off on 21 February, 2026 at the proposed palace ground, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.

Other venues to be used for the tournament are Totou football field, Ogun State and Ejigbo Mini Stadium, Lagos

Match coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi confirmed to our correspondent that the tournament would involve 32 teams from different parts of Lagos and Ogun States.

He explained that many clubs have shown interest in the competition noted that only few teams have completed their registration forms.

Among the interested clubs are Asemalu FC, Sammy FC, Liam’s Height Academy,IGFC FC, Super Accurate and Balo FC.

Gbadamosi disclosed that registration would close on 25, January and urged the interested teams to complete their registration forms before the closing date.

“Many clubs are interested in the competition unfortunately only few teams have completed their registration forms.I want to urge the club owners, coaches and managers to come for their registration forms before the closing date,”he said.

Meanwhile, the tournament is being supported by Mr Frut Drinks, Polcari Drinks, and Aree Bakinson kazeem
