Sixteen football teams across Ogun and Lagos are expected to take part in the Fasanya football tournament tagged’ Fasanya Gold Cup’.
The much anticipated football tourney which is being sponsored by chairman Heyfash Football Academy Foundation,Amos Ajayi Fasanya would kick off at 9, December, 2023 at the Joju football pitch, Sango, Ogun State.
Chairman Organising Committee, Akinlawon Akinola disclosed that the preparations are on top gear to stage a befitting and a memorable tournament and insisted that only 16 teams would be accommodated for the tournament.
“Presently we have started preparations and forms are available for interested teams to purchase.We have seen more than 30 club owners showed interest but only 16 teams would be accommodated.
“What we would do is that any team that complete their payment of registration forms are qualified to play the competition and once the 16 teams are completed their payment, we would close the registration forms and proceed to the draw ceremony,”he said.
Meanwhile the winners would go home with the sum of N200,000 with a giant trophy.The registration forms are still in progress at the rate of N15,000.
