Organisers of the inaugural edition of the Football Fiesta Competition have expressed their readiness to hold the draws on November 2, 2024, at the Rontex 18 Hotel, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
A total of 16 teams are expected to take part in the football fiesta which kicks off November 17, at the Proposed Palace playground, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
Among the teams registered for the tournament are Sansan Boys, Rocky Stars, Ms Success FC, Igando All Stars, Quality All Stars, Sterling All Stars, Samba FC, Wolves FC, Bucknor FC, Bora FC and IGFC.
Match coordinator, Habeeb Bello said the committee is fully ready for the draws saying that all the sponsors, team representatives, media, match officials and other football stakeholders are notified about the draws.
“I want to announce that all our partners and sponsors have responded to our invitations and they have assured us their presence comes on Saturday.
“It is going to be a colourful and glamorous draws because we want to try as much as possible to live up to expectations and make our draw ceremony a memorable one,”he said.
Bello disclosed that only five slots are available for registration and frowned about the teams that are calling him on phone without showing finacial commitment.
“Some club owners are calling us but they are not showing any finacial commitment and we are using this medium to announce that only five slots are still available for grabs before the draws,”said Bello who assured the participants good organisation and officiating throughout the tournament.
Bello however announced their partners and sponsors for the competition.
Among the sponsors are Nadis Exchange ,Opemosco New Line Nigeria Limited,Wayse Autos Ventures, Pyramid Edge Concept and Bet9ja Super Agent, Alimosho.
Others are Rontex 18 Hotel, Kerenke Whisky, Yuskeh Global Concept and Justrite Super Stores Igando branch.
