Organisers of the Adaamasunle Foundation Football Competition have concluded plans to organise Adaamasunle Cup finals scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the Aboru pipeline football pitch, Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos.
The U-13 and 15 finals would be played on Saturday.In U-13 category, Peerless FC face Joi Global by 3pm, while Niggar Wax tackle Joi Global FC by 4:30pm.
The U-17 and free age finals would hold on Sunday.In the U-17 category, Nasfat Feeders battle Joi Global FC by 1pm, while God’s Power FC tackle Zion FC by 3pm in free age category.
Some third place matches would be decided on Saturday as Confidence FC face Faithful FC by 10am in U-13 category.
In U-15 category, Peerless FC tackle Fantastic FC while Marvelous FC battle Smart Striker in U-17 category.
Match cordinator, Muri Olaleye said plans have been concluded to stage the finals and congratulated the finalists in the various categories for their impressive performances throughout the tournament.
He said the Adaamasunle Foundation is ready to hold the finals on the weekend and revealed that trophies, medals and gift items would be given to the winners and outstanding players for their job well done.
While chairman of the Adaamasunle Foundation, Adeola Olaleye said sponsoring the football tournament annually is one of the programmes in the foundation saying that this year’s finals would be glamorous and colourful one.
