Organisers of the ongoing Onigando Cup have presented new branded set of jerseys to the third place teams and finalists ahead of the Onigando Cup final scheduled to hold on Sunday at the Sansan football pitch, Igando, Alimosho, Lagos. The final match would be played between Bakinson FC and Adebayo Samba by 3pm, while the third place match would come early between Sansan Bois FC and Baale Oko Oki FC.by 1pm.
The chairman organising commiittee, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi on Thursday evening presented the new set of jerseys for the four teams as part of the organiser’s commitment.
He however urged the four teams to desist from vices that can tarnish the image of the competition saying that any team violate the rules would be sanctioned.
“I am glad to present these new branded jerseys to our third place teams and finalists as part of our promise we made before the competition kicked off.We also want the teams to caution their supporters during and after the game and wish all the teams best of luck,”he said.
Gbadamosi disclosed that some invited guests are expected to grace the grandfinale.
Among the invited guests expected are HRM oba Sulaimon Adeshina Raji AshadeOniba Ekun, Chairman Igando Ikotun LCDA, Hon Akinsanya Lasisi and Vice Chairman, Hon Mojisola Badmus, High Chief Jelili Odo Oba Elect of ijeododo and Hon jimoh Ajao.
