Organisers of the Jameria Harmony Cup on Monday afternoon conducted successful draws as 16 teams were drawn into four groups.
The draw ceremony was witnessed by participating teams and the invited media. It was also conducted under the leadership of the Agege Football Coaches Council, Olumide Ajayi.
The competition, which is being sponsored by Tharmm Equest Entertainments Limited, UK No 1 Black Entertainment Company would commence on October 17 at the Harmony football field, Baruwa, Ayobo, Alimosho, Lagos.
A total of 16 teams were drawn into four groups, with two teams in each group progressing to the quarter-final stage.
Group A consist of defending champions, Brave FA, Alajede Active, Golden Wealth and Ultimate Stars. Group B are made up of Power Rangers FA, Treasuredomini, Harmony Set Boys and Orphiel FC.
Group C comprises Trojans FA, Dynamic FA, Grace United, and Young Boys D FC. Group D are made up of Victory Future Stars, Usefulyouth FA, Gunners FA and De Gracia FA.
Speaking at the draws, chairman of the organising committee, Olumide Ajayi reminded the participants of the rules governing the game. It urged them to see this tournament as friendly, not a do-or-die affair.
He explained that the organisers would not condone any act of indiscipline or social vices during the competition, noting that any club found wanting would be sanctioned accordingly.
