Ooni of Ife’s Wife, Olori Temitope Visits IGP Egbetokun, Hails Police Combating Effort To Protect Nigerians

Olori Amb. Dr. Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan-Ogunwusi, has hailed the effort of the Nigerian Police to safeguard the lives of Nigerians.

Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi was the guest of the Acting Inspector General of the Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun at the Force Headquarters in Abuja last Friday.

“It was my pleasure to listen to the measures taken by the Nigerian Police to protect the rights and lives of Nigeria citizens,”  Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, told his host who received her with enthusiasm in his office.  

“As an advocate for the less privileged children and the youth through the Hopesalive Initiative For Africa. It is my goal to ensure that the voice of the voiceless is heard and their rights protected,” she said.

Hopesalive Initiative for Africa (HAI) works to bring hope and improve well-being in Nigerian and African communities with the utmost goal of reducing poverty and social, economic and environmental hardships, thereby creating a fairer society.

Olori Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi told the IGP that with his good office, “I believe we will continue to establish platforms that support the rights of the less privileged children, the youth and Nigerian citizens.”
