Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyetidawa and his deputy, Chief Olayide Adelami, are gaining unprecedented support across the nooks and crannies of Ondo State ahead of the gubernatorial election which holds in a week on 16 November 2024.
On Friday, women in their number in Owo Local Government Area stormed the streets for a massive rally for the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The early morning rally led by a chieftain of the party and philanthropists, Pastor (Mrs.) Grace Abebi Adeniseun kicked off at the Old Mobil Roundabout in Ijebu Owo with the women campaigning across the streets.
Mrs. Adeniseun said Owo women are solidly behind Governor Aiyetidawa and have pledged about 40,000 votes to ensure his emergence during next week’s Saturday election in the state.
While also using the opportunity to share thoughts on the achievements of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in office, Pastor (Mrs.) Adeniseun said Owo women are very happy with the present administration and will vote for the emergence of Mr. Governor and their son, Dr. Olayide Adelami mni.
“We are all out here today to support and campaign for our preferred candidate in next Saturday’s election. Owo women are solidly behind the governor and we are here to assure him that we will deliver 40,000 votes”, she said even as she admonished the people to come out during the election and perform their civic duties.

He promised the Owo community a better governance through development with both APC candidates now and after the election.
The rally took off and ended at the Mobil Tarmac, Ogbon Omo Ijebu-Owo.
