Chairman of the ongoing Alimosho U-16 Youth League, Noah Omotunde has expressed satisfaction with the performance of the participating teams saying that all the teams have done well in their respective matches in the first stanza of the league.
Omotunde made this disclosure while speaking with our correspondent recently in Lagos.
He said the league was organised by Alimosho Football Coaches Council and he was impressed with the high level of professionalism the coaches displayed on the field of play and also commended the players for their good performance in their matches
“So far so good, i must commend all the teams that are participating in the league for the spirit of sportsmanship displayed during the league.
“I move to various centres and i saw total commitment on the part of our coaches, match officials and players.I think the first stanzar is quite entertaining and impressive,”he said.
Omotunde said there are some grey areas he observed but noted that his commiittee would review the league before the commencement of the second stanzar.
“Like i said the league has lived up to expectations but we still need to work on some grey areas we have identified and we would be better and stronger in the second stanzar,”he said.
The league entered week eight this Friday, Divine Stara welcome Sammy Academy by 4pm at Touch mini football pitch, Obadore, Iba,
Ola Star host Future Stars on Saturday by 10am at the Post Service playground, Opposite LASU, while Pro foot would also welcome Realms Athletics on Saturday by 2pm at Egan Grammar School.
