Okokomaiko District League: Liam’s Height Sports Academy In Flying Start

Liam’s Height Sports Academy on Friday defeated Prolific Football Club 2-0 in the group opening match in the ongoing Okokomaiko District League at Stargen football field, Okokomaiko, Badagry Expressed Road, Lagos.

It was a tough encounter for the both teams but Liam’s Height Sports Academy were triumphed after Adebayo Emmanuel and Abeson Miracle scored in each half to brighten their chances of qualifying to the semi final

Eight teams are taking part in the tournament and four teams were drawn in two groups.

Reacting to the victory, Liam’s Height Sports Academy Head Coach,Azenabor Williams expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance boasted that his boys played to instructions and deserved the victory.

“In the second half, I was able to manage my players and made timely tactical adjustments by bringing in Abeson Miracle who went on to score the winning goal in the 75th of the encounter,” he said.

Before the league, Williams who doubles as Chief Executive Officer of Liam’s Height Sports Academy said his team have engaged in series of friendly matches which really helped them in the league and urged his players to remain focused in their next game.

Liam’s Height Sports Academy would face Ajao Football Academy next Wednesday and a win in their next match would qualify them into semi final.
