After he scored brace for Abia Warriors against Katsina United on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Abia Warriors midfielder, Ibrahim Dehinde has promised club fans and supporters to expect more goals from him in the subsequent matches.
Dehinde, who was a former player of Sporting Royal Football Club of Lagos, scored beautiful two goals against Katsina United to earn his team 2-1 hard fought victory over visiting Katsina United in NPFL home match.
Dehinde said that his two goals against Katsina United is just a tip of the iceberg, boasting that his current form is a threat to opponents.
“I have hit my form and i am happy that I scored two goals against Katsina United.It was a good outing for me and my colleagues. Presently, we are doing well and I want to use this medium to assure our teeming fans and supporters that they should expect more goals from me in the subsequent matches,” he said.
Dehinde, however, dedicated his two goals to his mother, Iyabo Olushola Ibrahim who is always behind his success and appreciated his teammates for his love and support given him since he joined the club.
He also thanked the team management and coaching crew for their commitment to the club saying that Abia Warriors would make its supporters proud at the end of the league.
Speaking in the same vein, Arinze Ogbonna who plays defensive midfielder for Abia Warriors expressed satisfaction with the progress of the club in the league and assured team’s fans good outing in their subsequent matches.
“It was a good outing for us against Katsina United.All the players gave their best to defeat our opponents.Our target is to win the league and clinch continental ticket at the end of the season,”said Ogbonna who started his football career with Sporting Royal Ac academy of Lagos.
Meanwhile, Abia Warriors are travelling this week to face Plateau United in Jos.
