Head Coach of First Bank Football Club of Lagos, Mohammed Gafari has tendered his resignation letter following the poor performance of the club in the ongoing Nigeria National League NNL
Gafari tendered his resignation letter recently to the management following the inability of the club to meet the targets of the management.
Former Smart City coach said he resigned his appointment as the head coach after the poor run of the club in the first stanza of the league.
“I have formally resigned my appointment as head coach of the First Bank and I have submitted my resignation letter to the management.The resignation came after the team failed to meet the expectations of the management in the first stanza of the league.
“I wish the players and other backroom staff all the best and I will continue to support First Bank in its remaining matches in the league,”said Gafari who was in charge of the team from NLO to get promotion to NNL in the last season.
