Nigerian Navy Judokas Make List, As NJF Invites 17 To Commonwealth Games Camp

Two judokas from the Nigerian Navy (NN) have been invited to join 15 others from different states in the country as the Board of Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF) set to open camp for the Commonwealth Games which holds on the UK from 28 July – 8 August, 2022.

President of the federation, Dr Musa Oshodi through his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Ikpo Igbinoba said in a release made available to Independent News Express Wednesday that the judokas that make the provisional list should report to the national camp by 29 March.

Two judokas of the Nigerian Navy are fighting in the -90kg category. They are Cyprian Miracle and Mican Franck

The invited judokas were picked after the trials held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos between February 22nd and 24th.

The president said that the venue for the camping will be announced later
