R2 Finesse Rugby Football Club are planning to cause upset when they confront Lagos Bulls in the reverse fixtures in the ongoing week six of Nigeria Rugby League.
The pulsating tie women’s category would hold on Saturday by 11am at the CMS Grammar School, Bariga, Lagos.
When both teams met some weeks ago, Lagos Bulls defeated R2 Finesse 22 -20 in a kneely contested match but the reverse fixure this weekend is expected to be tough for Bulls Ladies.
Captain of R2 Finesse, Abiola Obazuaye remains confidence and warned their opponents to prepare for serious battle.
In her own comment, Assistant Captain of Lagos Bulls, Innocent Adaeze said they are aware of the threat posed by their opponents saying that they are ready to beat them again.
“R2 Finesse are very good side and they always give us a tough match.We have beaten them before narrowly but we would still beat them again comes Saturday”she said.
In the men category, R2 Finesse would face Rhinos, while Lagos Bulls face Trinity.
League cordinator, Samson Okeowo said the weekend fixtures would be a battle to the finish for all the teams and urged them to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
