The ongoing Nigeria Ex Internationals Cup which kicked off some weeks ago in Lagos has reached the semi final stage as four teams would be battling for final ticket comes on Friday.
In the semi final fixtures released by the organisers ,FC Agali tackle FC Ekpo by 9am while FC Agbai battle FC Nwosu by 11am on Friday at the legacy pitch of national stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The tournament is organised and packaged by Lagos State Football Association LSFA to allow Nigeria ex Internationals to mentor and tutor their teams or players during the tournament.
The purpose of the tournament according to the organisers is to allow the ex Internationals to be in charge of their teams as a coach and give the players the right instructions and attitude to make them succeed in their footballing careers.
Meanwhile a match between FC Agali and FC Ekpo would be a tough match considering the performance of both teams in their previous matches. The two teams show high level of football display and professionalism in all their matches.
The two teams also play free flow football and both Victor Agali and Friday Expo who handle the teams have coaching skills that keep their teams to reach the semi final stage.
In the second semi final, FC Agbai and FC Nwosu is another cracker but FC Agbai are scoring side looking how they destroyed FC Ipaye 4-1 in the quarter final.
On the other hand, FC Nwosu managed to beat FC Ugbade 1-0 in their last match to reach the semi final stage. FC Agbai must double their effort if they want to reach the final stage as FC Nwosu are defensive minded team which might difficult for any opponent to overrun them easily.
Match coordinator, Wale Joseph said the tournament has lived up to expectations at various centres, and urged the teams to play the game according to the rules and regulations.
