Nigeria Ex Internationals Cup: Oguntuase Draw At Home As Akanni, Ayila Win First Leg

FC Jide Oguntuase Football Club forced FC Dosu Joseph Football to 2-2 draw on Tuesday evening in the ongoing Nigeria Ex Internationals Cup.

The match which was held at Ikorodu on Tuesday evening saw the Lagos State Chairman, Alhaji Liammed Olawale Gafar and other match officials in attendance.

It was an exciting match from the blast of whistle as homers, Oguntuase scored their equaliser through Yinka Adelakun in the 93th minutes.

Reacting to the match, Head coach of FC Oguntuase, Jide Oguntuase said it was a good match for them but frowned over the officiating.

“We had a good match unfortunately we could not win our opponents at the end of the day.In the area of officiating, i think the match officials did not live up to expectations.The match has come and gone and presently i am planning for return leg,”he said.

Commenting on the return leg, the ex International remained optimistic that he would shock their opponents in their homeground and warned them to prepare for serious battle.

In other results, FC Akanni defeated FC Ekpo 3-2, while FC Alloy lost 1-2 to FC Ayila.
