Both teams could not find the back of the net throughout the duration. Although, FC Babington had more scoring chances than their opponents but poor finishing denied them from home victory in the encounter watched by few spectators and organisers.
Babington who spoke to our correspondent after the match commended his boys for good display but attributed their draw as a result of lateness to the match venue and inability of his players to convert their scoring chances.
“It was not a bad start for us although we ought to have won the game judging by the two teams performance on the field of play. Why we did not win the game was that we came late to the match venue and the players did not do any warm up which affected our performance at the match situation.
“Secondly we were not clinical enough in the front of goal. Of course, we created more scoring chances than our opponents but we failed to take our chances.I was not disappointed with the outcome of the match and i still commend my boys for the job well done,” he said.
