The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Rev. (Amb.) Samuel Ikpea has congratulated Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen on his hat-trick for his clubside which takes him top of the table as leading scorer in the competition.
Ikpea who reacted to the excellent performance of the Super Eagles forward from the National Secretariat of the apex Supporters Club in the country also reminded Osimhen of the task ahead in the World Cup playoff.
“I congratulate Victor Osimhen for this heroic performance” Ikpea started. “This is the kind of spirit Nigerian athletes are generally known for anywhere in the World and Osimhen has told the world the kind of class he is made of”
“This hat-trick did not just give Galatasaray victory over Ajax, but it also sends Osimhen to the top and we all are proud of him”.
“We are definitely looking forward to Osimhen replicating same with the Super Eagles ahead of the World Cup playoff against Gabon which comes up in a few days time” he concluded.
Osimhen who has scored six goals for Galatasaray in this edition of the Champions League will be expected to lead Super Eagles attack when they face Gabon on November 13, in Morocco during the CAF World Cup playoff.
