Coming quickly on the heels of his election as the Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Fouad Oki, has congratulated the Flying Eagles over its 2-0 win over Italy at the ongoing U20 World Cup in Argentina.
“I want to say a big thank you and congratulations to our darling Flying Eagles on the victory over Italy. It’s certainly, a sweet coincidence that this very important win is coming on the day of my election as the Chairman of Lagos FA,” Oki said.
“I implore our boys to improve upon their performances in the tournament and go for the ultimate prize,” he added.
The highly regarded administrator went on to reassure football lovers and potential investors that his newly elected board of the State FA, would work assiduously with all stakeholders to revive the fortunes of football in Lagos state.
