NCC, NICO To Leverage Telecom Channels To Promote Nigerian Cultural Heritage

As the world has gone digital and digital revolution is cutting across every sphere of human life, the need for various cultural heritages of Nigeria to cue into where the world is going cannot be over emphasized.

This was the major discussion when the management of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) led by Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Dr. Aminu Maida played host to the delegation of National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), led by its Executive Secretary/CEO, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, FCIA.

The NICO delegation was at the NCC headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.

Independent News Express understands that the meeting provided a platform for both NCC and the NICO leaders and their teams to discuss leveraging telecommunication channels as a means to showcase and promote Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
