Bucknor Football Club of Ikeja are currently occupying second position on the table after they played 1-1 with Shuffle Select FC on Tuesday in the ongoing Nigeria Youth League Cup.
Bucknor came from behind to equalise their opponents in the Southern Conference Nigeria Youth League Cup which held at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ogun State.
Bucknor have played two matches, won one and drew one.As at Tuesday, Bucknor still occupied second position , while some clubs in the group are yet to play their second game.
Team Manager of Bucknor, Habeeb Adebowale said the team are still making steady progress in the league despite their draw against Shuffle Select and urged his players and coaching crew to remain focused in their next game
“It was not the result we wanted particularly but we take positive from it. We have all it takes to win the game unfortunately it did not go our way.Coaches would go back to their drawing board and work on the grey areas before our next game.
“With this result ,we presently seat in the second position on the Log for the Southern Conference of the N Youth League Cup,”he said.
