The 36 Lion Football Club would clash against Otassolo Football Club in the opening match of Multi Sport Pre Season Football Tournament.
The much anticipated match would commence on Monday by 7am at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly known as Onikan Stadium.
A total of eight teams are expected to participate in the Lagos pre season tournament being organised and sponsored by Tata Sport Limited.
According to the fixtures released by the organisers,Group A comprises of Sporting Lagos FC, First Bank,Moree Wins Foundation FC and 1472 FC.Group B are made up of Smart City, Inter Lagos FC , Otassolo FC and 36 Lion.
After the opening match,Moree Wins Foundation battle 1472 FC by 9am on Monday, Sporting Lagos tackle First Bank FC by 2pm, while Smart City tackle Inter Lagos by 4pm.
Action resumes on Tuesday, when 36 Lion FC confront Smart City by 7am,1472 face Sporting Lagos by 9am, First Bank host Moree Wins Foundation FC by 2pm as Inter Lagos face Otassolo FC by 4pm.
Teams would observe rest day on Wednesday as the last group matches would hold on Thursday to decide which teams qualify for the semi final stage.
The two semi final matches according to fixtures would hold on Friday, while the grand finale would hold on October,1, 2024 at the Onikan Stadium.
Speaking on the pre season tournament, match coordinator, John Tata said the participating teams are fully prepared for the tournament and all matches would be played as scheduled.
He said the pre season is organised to allow Lagos teams prepare well for 2024/25 NNL League and assess their newly recruited players before their opening matches.
