Maida Hosts Halilu, Discusses NCC And NASENI’s Collaboration

The Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr Aminu Maida recently played host to the management of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) led its CEO, Khalil Halilu.

Independent News Express reports that NASENI’s boss was at the NCC headquarters in Abuja to meet “with Dr. Aminu Maida, EVC of Nigerian Communications Commission, and his team to align NASENI and NCC’s strengths for a strong digital and manufacturing ecosystem.

“This discussion is a key step in positioning Nigeria as a tech leader in Africa. I am grateful to the EVC for the warm reception and insightful engagement,” he said.

To Dr. Maida, the meeting was productive. “It was a pleasure to host you at the Nigerian Communications Commission and learn about NASENI innovative advances in technology and commercialization.

“We look forward to collaborating, especially in promoting renewable energy for telecommunications and the local manufacturing of affordable smartphones for our growing population,” Maida said.
