Attention would be shifted to Isheri Rehabilitation sports center, Ojodu,Lagos on Friday morning when Magboro clash with the NLO team, Dosu Joseph Football Club in the final of Afeez Olalekan Aremu football competition.
Four teams were selected to take part in the tournament sponsored by former player of Dosu Joseph FC, Afeez Aremu.
To reach the final stage, Magboro humbled Shuffle Select 3-1, while Dosu Joseph FC thrashed Excel FC 4-1 to book a place in the final.
Magboro Coach, Gani Shobola said he is satisfied with the team’s performance against Shuffle Select saying that their final match against Dosu Joseph FC would be another tough game for his boys.
“We are looking forward to the final with high expectations.It is not not going to be easy for us because our opponents are equally good.
“We have prepared for them mentally and pyscologically. I believe that the two teams would entertain the football fans with their football artistry, and I wish my boys good luck,” he said.
The much-anticipated final would hold by 8am in Friday morning.
