As the third edition of Edo State/Princess Mabel Madojiemu U-15 All Secondary Schools Athletics competition draws nearer, organisers of the event have rolled out athletics programmes to prepare the participants challenges ahead.
The much anticipated All Secondary Schools Athletics competition would commence from April 25th through 26th at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, Edo State.
No fewer than 500 participants are expected to take part in the championship sponsored by Princess Madojiemu Sports Foundation.
According to the athletics programmes rolled out by the organisers, Day One would witness 100m boys and girls heats and 100m women and men elite.
Organisers would also conduct 400m both boys and girls and 400m both men and women elite.Boys and girls would also involve in long jump in day one of the event.
In day two,the organisers would conduct 200m for both boys and girls.Also boys and girls would involve in 4x100m semi finals and finals.
Actions would be on 100 and 400m for both boys and girls as well as men &women in finals.
Commenting on the preparedness of the championship, Princess Madojiemu said all the judges and officials are ready and they are looking forward to the commencement of the championship.
“At this moment, those who are involved are ready for the championship and registrations are still in progress.We just rolled out our programmes and this is to tell you that we are set for the All Secondary Schools Athletics Competition,” she said.
