LSFA State League: Lagos FA Boss To Slam N1m Fine On Team Who Fail To Honour NLO II Play Off

Chairman Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, Gafar Liammed has announced a sum of N1 million naira fine on any team who fail to honour their NLO II Play Off.

Liammed said this at the LSFA State League seminar/draw conference held on Friday at the Indoor Sports Bar of Teslim Balogun Stadium.

The Lagos FA Boss was disappointed after current champions, Arubinjaga FC of Ikorodu and Bucknor FC of Ikeja failed to honour their NLO II Play Off last season in Ibadan,Oyo State.

The absence of Arubinjaga FC and Bucknor FC at the NLO II play off last season was not only embarrassed the Lagos FA,it also gave football stakeholders in the state a serious concern.

The Lagos FA boss while addressing the club representatives said any team fails to honour their NLO II play off this season would not only pay the sum of N1million naira, such team would also be punished accordingly.

The club representatives who were in attendance also supported Lagos FA boss to fine and punish the erring club who fail to honour their NLO II play off at the end of 2025/26 LSFA State League.

Meanwhile Chairman of LSFA State League,Wale Joseph reminded the participating teams to abide by the competition rules saying that any team violates the rules governing the league would be punished accordingly.

A total of 20 teams would involve in the LSFA State League as ten teams drew in each group namely Mainland and Atlantic Conference.

The LSFA State League would kick off on 21 April as Team 360 FC and Chekas United feeders would clash as official match at the FIFA legacy pitch of national stadium.
