In line with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) guidelines and timelines, Chairman Technical Committee of Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, Adedotun Coker says the association has concluded plans to close the registration and submission of processed players licenses for LSFA/ BETWGB Lagos FA Cup on Tuesday, 31, January 2023.
Coker said the association is worried over the numbers of teams registered and urged the interested clubs to come for their registration forms before Tuesday.
“Presently over 50 teams have registered and for the Lagos FA Cup.I am worried as a Lagos FA member because there are some notable clubs that are yet to register for the competition. But, we believe these teams shall meet up with the guidelines and timelines before registration and submission of players licenses closes on or before Tuesday.
“We are not going to extend the timelines as we are bound by the NFF directives on the competition. I am using this medium to call on club owners to come to our office on and before Tuesday to conclude all necessary documents for participating in the competition”,he said.
Coker disclosed that this year’s edition would be glamorous and exciting saying that all participating teams would be given level playground and the officiating would be better throughout the competition
“We are coming big and better in this year’s edition. Our brand collaboration partner, BETWGB is committed to this year’s edition, and they have promised to activate their promises beyond expectations and make this year’s edition a memorable one,” he said.
