Liam’s Height Sports Academy have begun early preparation for Oba Akran Cup following 1-0 victory recorded against Willy Joe Football Academy in a friendly match held on Monday at Ojo Barracks, Lagos.
The friendly match was organised to prepare the Liam’s Height Sports Academy players ahead of Oba Akran Cup which holds soon in Badagry and its environs and other future football tournaments.
Adebayo Emmanuel late strike was Liam’s Height Sports Academy needed to seal a victory against their opponents in pulsating tie watched by appreciable crowd.
Reacting to the victory, Liam’s Height Sports Academy Chief coach,Williams Azenabor expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance saying that work is still in progress ahead of their future engagements.
“I am very satisfied with my team performance despite the slim win, it is a young team that is growing gradually, the boys are building their confidence on daily basis.
“The players are good listeners and they played to instructions.I congratulate them for the job well done and I wish them better days ahead,”he said
