LDFA Super 8 Begins In Lagos

The Lagos Divisional Football Association LDFA Super Eight would commence tomorrow (Sunday) at Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle, Lagos.

The LDFA league which began two months ago has reached the super eight as teams would face one another in two- legged match to determine teams that qualify for the semi final stage.

In the fixures released by the organisers,JS Sports face Begi Stars FA by 11am,Anthony City tackle Ikorodu City Academy by 12:45pm,AYICRIP NELIS battle Triple A Goshen by 2;30pm as Amsterdam FA confront Olufunke FA by 4:15pm.

Hostilities continue on Tuesday in the second leg fixtures when Begi Stars welcome JS Sports FA by 11am,Ikorodu City FA welcome Anthony City by 12:45pm,Triple A Goshen battle AYICRIP FA by 2:30pm as Olufunke FA take on Amsterdam FC by 4:15pm.

Remmy Awosanya,a technical director of LDFA, disclosed that the body is ready to host a successful super eight and urged the teams to always abide by the rules governing the game.

“We are now in crucial stage and we want all the teams to comport themselves in professional manner and stay away from vices that can ruin this league.We are looking forward to the exciting super eight and wish all the teams all the best,”he said.
