Ambassador of the 2024 Lagos women Run, Miss Ololade Ayelabola, has urged Lagos women of all ages to troop out in their large numbers on Saturday 9 November 2024, for this year’s edition of the annual programme.
She made this appeal in Lagos on Friday 25 October 2024 while signing MoU with Ms Temitayo Kuburat Popoola, the event Coordinator.
Speaking after putting hands on papers with the organizers, Miss Ololade highlighted the benefits of such a wonderful programme that promotes general wellness, health and physical body exercise.
She also stressed on the need for women to embrace it having realized it’s importance. Moreso that is held once a year.
While appealing for mass participation at this year’s event to make it a memorable one for all women irrespective of their individual professions, the Ekiti State-born model dwelled extensively on women coming together to speak with one voice which is what Lagos Women Run is encouraging.
Adding that women should embrace physical fitness in every aspect of their lives.
She noted that this was what she discovered in Lagos Women Run that actually attracted her to join the race in the first place after completing an attempt to break the world record for the longest distance walk for the Cat Walk by a model.

As the Ambassador of the 2024 Lagos women Run, Miss Ololade Ayelabola and her entourage promised to be at the flag-off point early enough before the commencement of the race that will be flagged-off by His Excellency, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State.
