As the Lagos Supremacy Cup is drawing nearer, chairman Seamoriow Football Club of Alimosho, Oluwaseyi Amos has expressed confidence that his team would have a good outing throughout the four days event.
The much anticipated Lagos Supremacy Cup would commence from November 27 through 30, 2024 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly known as Onikan Stadium.
Speaking with our correspondent on Tuesday morning, Amos first and foremost expressed gratitude to the convener of the scouting tournament, Hajj Olawale Liameed Gafar for giving them the opportunity to take part in the tournament.
He explained that their coming to the Lagos Supremacy Cup is for the business saying that any team underrate them at their own peril.
“We are very grateful to the organisers for this opportunity and we want to prove to them that Seamoriow would play good football that Lagos fans would be proud of.We are also coming to the tournament to make statement in the group.
“I am not a coach but the spirit in camp now is quite impressive and all the coaching crew have intensified their preparation ahead of the tournament,”he said.
Asked if his team could go far or possibly reach the final stage,Amos said the primary objective of any club in the tournament or scouting programme is to win and his club would not be exceptional.
“Why not.My team have what it takes to go far and reach the final stage. We are not afraid of any team but rather they should be afraid of us because we are debutant and most of the clubs are not familiar with us,” said Amos who is marking his birthday today in Lagos.
