The draw ceremony of much anticipated Lagos Supremacy Cup was conducted recently as 12 teams were drawn in three groups.
In the draws conducted by the organisers, group A comprises Tripple 44 FC, Imperial FC, Ikorodu City and Dosu Joseph Football Club. Group B are made up of Mavlon FC, Dino SC, Corinthians and Broad City.
While Group C are made up of FC Bethel, 36 Lion FC, DN10 FC and SGFC Athletics.
According to the organisers, the top team in each group proceed to the semifinal, while the last semifinal slot will be taken by the best second placed side in the three groups.
Tournament Director, who doubles as vice chairman of Lagos State Football Association LSFA, Alhaji Liameed Olawale Gafar, expressed satisfaction with the draws and wished all the teams best of luck in their outings.
“We thank God for the successful draws. All the participants were so excited the way and manner the draws were conducted, and I wish all the teams best of luck in their outings,” he said.
Meanwhile, the competition, which is scouting football programme, would kick off on 14 November with Tripple 44 FC facing Imperial FC in the opening match.
