MS Success Football Club of Mushin have crashed out of the ongoing Lagos Supremacy Cup taking place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena popularly known as Onikan Stadium.
In their opening match held yesterday,MS Success lost 1-2 to Seamoriow FC, suffered 0-2 to FC Bethel and fell 1-3 to Beyond Limits FC.
Out of three matches played, MS Success lost all their matches and they are not in contention for qualification despite their one match to play.
Seamoriow, a debutant proved the bookmakers wrong having won a match, drew one and lost one.
Seamoriow played goaless draw with Charlesann FC in today’s match.Seamoriow need outright win against Bethel FC tomorrow to decide if they would top the table or not.
Seamoriow who gave account of themselves in all their matches can only play in the final if they top their group.
Overall winners in each group would meet in the final while second position in each group would play third place match.
36 Lion Football Club have the chance to top the table after winning their two matches and lost one.
36 Lion early today defeated Broad City 2-1 to bring their qualification back on track.
Presently 36 Lion have six points out of three matches played and a victory against Ikorodu City feeders tomorrow would brighten their chances of topping the table depending the outcome of other results in the group.
Defending Champions, Dino FC are still in the race for qualification after defeating Real Sapphire 3-0 in today’s game.
Dino have seven points in their three matches and they are facing Ikorodu City feeders tomorrow in a must win game.If Dino beat Ikorodu boys tomorrow, it stands the chance to top the group and play in the final.
On the other hands, Ikorodu City feeders need to beat Dino and 36 Lion FC tomorrow to stand the chance of qualifying for the final.
Ikorodu boys played two matches and have four points. A victory in their two matches tomorrow would make them to top the group table and play in the final.
