Head coach of Dosu Joseph Football Club of Ikeja, Kayode Agboola has warned other teams to expect tough match from his his boys in the forthcoming Lagos Supremacy Cup.
Dosu Joseph Football Club are among the teams that would partake in the forthcoming Lagos Supremacy Cup scheduled to kick off from November 14 through 17 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium.
Twelve teams that have football pedigree are selected by the organisers and they would be in action during the four days scouting football tournament tagged’ Lagos Supremacy Cup’
Our correspondent who spoke to Agboola on Wednesday morning at the club training ground said they are coming to the tournament for a business not as spectators.
“As you can see now that i am training my boys ahead of the tournament.We don’t want leave the competition early stage and let me say that we are coming to the tournament with high expectations and any team that underrate us at their own peril,”he said.
Agboola, who is fondly called by his admirers Careca, said his boys are in good shape and ready to give their best throughout the tournament.
He also disclosed that new players have been introduced to the club and he is satisfied with the progress of new and old players in the camp.
“Honestly the players are responding well to the coaching instructions and i like their commitment in the training presently.
“Let me use this medium to thank our club chairman who also an ex international, Dosu Joseph for his moral and financial support given the club and on behalf of the my colleagues in the coaching crew we promise to do well in the tournament,”he said.
