Team360 Football Club of Surulere are still maintaining unbeaten run following their 4-3 victory over Diadem Stallion Football Club of Isolo in week four of the Lagos State league.
Team360 on Tuesday put up another impressive performance against their opponents at the FIFA legacy pitch of national stadium, Surulere Lagos.
Daniel Adams quickly cancelled goal deficit earlier scored by Badmus Yusuf of Diadem Stallion.
Ogar David and Jacob Jisu hit the target in 36th and 56th minutes to give Team360 comfortable lead in the encounter watched by appreciable crowd.
The visiting team continued to push until Olawale Abiodun got the second goal in 58th minutes to put the homers under pressure.
While both teams were still searching for goals,Khalid Tajudeen netted the fourth goal for the homers in 77th minutes after both teams missed some scoring chances during the encounter.
Diadem Stallion who fought tooth and nail got a penalty at the added time and was quickly converted by Abiodun to end the encounter 4-3 at the regulation time.
With this victory, Team360 have played three matches drew one and won two.The Trojan fondly called by fans have not lost a match since the league started.
Speaking after the match,Team360 coach, Shola Raji admitted that their game against Diadem Stallion was a tough one but thanked God for the hard fought victory.
He however commended his boys for their resilience and doggedness displayed throughout the encounter saying that he would continue to work on grey areas he identified in the team before their next match.
“It was a good outing for us.Our target before the game was victory which we achieved at the end of the day.We still have more matches to play and my boys need to be focused and determined to win the other matches,”he said.
In another development, Young Strikers on Wednesday recorded their first win after defeating Bucknor Football Club of Alimosho 4-2.
Young Strikers have lost their two away matches before they came back to winning ways against Bucknor in home match at Maracana Stadium, Ajegunle.
Coach of Young Strikers, Waheed Kosoko expressed satisfaction with the performance of the team saying that the team would continue to be better in subsequent matches.
“We were better today (Wednesday) compare to our last two matches.Our victory against Bucknor has restored our lost glory and we want to go for victory in our next match,”he said.
