The Super 5 tournament of the 2023/2024 Lagos State Football Association League, has entered match day two on Thursday.
The tournament kicked off on Wednesday at the Mainbowl of the National Stadium and only the best two teams would represent the state at the NLO zonal qualifiers coming up in Ibadan, Oyo State.
In the opening game of matchday one of the qualifying tournament, Okaka FC representing Lagos Divisional Football Association, defeated Bucknor FC of Ikeja DFA, 2-0.In the other match, Adosag FC of Ikorodu DFA pipped Young Stars FC of BDFA, by 2-0.
Matchday two, Bucknor FC came back stronger to defeat Ighalo FA of Epe DFA 1-0. And in the second game of the day, Adosag FC and Okaka FC battled to a 1-1, as both sides climbed to the top of the log, with 4 points each.
Action resumes on Friday as teams are still battling for qualification tickets to the NLO zonal qualifiers
