Seyi Eluwande goal in the 81th minutes was Bucknor Football Club needed to force Team360 Football Club to 1-1 goaless draw in the week one of the Lagos State League which commenced on Wednesday across centres in the state.
Team360 who came to Bucknor home ground (Isheri Community Primary School) took the lead through Morris Wilfred in the 56th minutes.
The goal spurred the home team to put pressure on their opponents but Team360 whose players were tactically disciplined absorbed the pressure until Eluwande headed ball inside the net after he got a ball from the right flank to send home team fans into wild jubilation
Reacting to the pulsating tie, Team360 coach, Shola Raji commended his players for their good performance but not happy that his team did not win the game.
“It was a good match for us and we were able to control the game unfortunately our opponents got their equaliser towards the full time.In the course of the game,we saw a clear penalty but it was ignored by the match official.
“So far so good, my players played well and they need to be commended for the job well,”he said.
In his own comment, Bucknor team manager, Habeeb Adebowale said it was a tough match but thanked God for the equaliser.
In other results, DN10 walloped SGH 3-0, as Unizee lost 1-2 to Ighalo.
