Lagos State League Boss Lauds Teams, Club Owners

The Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State League, Wale Joseph has showered encomium on teams and club Owners participating in the 2024/2025 season for both the male and female category, while also expressing satisfaction with the standard and quality of football paraded so far.

The veteran Journalist turned administrator stated that he is very impressed with the level of discipline, professionalism and conduct of teams and their officials, reminding them to continue to uphold such level of character even as the league hits crescendo.

While the men are in week 11 now the women are in week 5, which Joseph is excited by the seamless progress made in both categories.

According to him, he is satisfied with the level of competitiveness of the league and the talents on display in different centres across the state. He also noted that looking at the number of goals per match with an average of 2.1 per match shows how high the standard of the league is.

The CEO commended the club Owners including Odion Ighalo, Adekunle Yunusa, Chekwube Uzoegbo, Oba of Isheri Olofin kingdom, Olasukanmi Lawal amongst others for their sacrifices and empowerment of these young ones.

“I’m very much satisfied with the level of competitiveness this season and how players and officials have conducted themselves in both categories.

“Looking at the number of goals per game with an average of 2.1 goals per match speaks volume.

“I wish to commend the club Owners Odion Ighalo, Adekunle Yunusa, Chekwube Uzoegbo, Oba of Isheri Olofin Kingdom, Olasukanmi Lawal for their contributions”, he concluded.
