Arubinjaga Football Academy will be seeking their first victory when they confront DN10 Football Academy on Wednesday at 3pm at DN10 playground, Wetland Junction, Phase Two, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
Arubinjaga who represent the Ikorodu division lost their home match last week in week one of the Lagos State League and their next match against DN10 will be a win if they want to fight for the Super Four at the end of the league.
Speaking with our correspondent ahead of Wednesday afternoon tie, Chairman of Arubinjaga Adeboye Riliwan Adebayo said his players and coaching crew are ready to go for victory in their next match against DN10.
He described their week one against Unizee FC as a disaster saying that losing their next match would be a serious setback for the team.
“This is a home-and-away league format, and every team drops points along the way. Our home defeat last week was a shock to me, but I have put the defeat behind me.
“Concerning our next match against DN10, it is going to be another tough game but I am optimistic that the boys would come out with a better result,” he said.
Asked about the mood of the players and coaching crew in camp, Adebayo said they are in high spirits and ready to return to winning ways after their defeat last week.
