Lagos Sports Commission Fetes Retired Directors, Kolawole Moses, Emmanuel Aina

The management and staff of the Lagos State Sports Commission bade farewell to the retired Directors, Aina Emmanuel, (Administration and Human Resources) and Kolawole Moses (Sports Development) as they bowed out after 35 years of meritorious service.

The atmosphere at the Indoor Sports Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere , was superb and electrified as the top management staff and officers were decked in white and blue attire, in celebration of the colossus Directors.

One of the major highlights of the retirement ceremony was the demonstration of Karate skills exhibited in honour of the retirees who attained highest positions in the service and dropped their pens in the sports industry.

The Director General, Oluwatoyin Gafaar, commended the retirees for their immense contributions having expended better half of their years in serving the people of Lagos.

Gafaar said with the little time spent, the commission appreciated and acknowledged their contributions, just as he encouraged the active officers to put in their best as whatever legacy they want to live behind starts now.

In attendance were the former Chairman, Lagos State Sports Commission, Dr. Kweku Adebayo Tandoh, Board Members, Directors and management staff of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Directors and Officers from the six Education Districts, Sports Association Chairmen and the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants to the Governor.
