As the commencement of the much anticipated Lagos Principal Cup is drawing nearer, Chairman of Badagry Divisional Football Association, BDFA, Martins Osondu has assured technical and moral support to all the public secondary schools under his division during the competition.
Osondu in his statement thanked the Lagos State Football Association LSFA led by Fuad Oki and Chairman Lagos Principal Cup commiittee led by Razaq Ajala for reviving the inter schools football competition popularly known as Lagos Principal Cup.
Osondu said Badagry Divisional Football Association has shown keen interest in the competition noting that his division is committed to give all the schools under BDFA fulll support throughout Lagos Principal Cup.
“We want to inform all the public secondary schools under the BDFA that we have certified coaches and some football technocrats who are well experienced.We want implore the schools that are playing the competition to engage our coaches and technocrats to assist school sports officers during the Principal Cup competition.
“Aside this,we are also going to provide facilities for schools that are in need of it and ensure that their students train under conducive environment, “he said.
Osondu however said his members would soon visit some schools that have Lagos Principal Cup past records saying that his target is to see one of the schools in BDFA to win the principal cup.
“The essence of rendering technical support to our schools is to ensure that our schools have a good outings in the competition and see one of them win it,” he concluded.
