Lagos Int’l Badminton Classic: Power Shortage Disrupts Semifinal Women Doubles Clash

The semifinal clash of the women doubles in the ongoing 7th Lagos Badminton Classic was disrupted as power supply went off during the clash.

The incident happened when Nigeria’s duo of Dorcas Ajoke and Ilori Aminat were playing against India’s Selvam Kavipriya and Singhi Simran.

The power which went off at exactly 6:31pm WAT was restored at 6:33pm WAT after which play continued.

The issue of power supply in the country has become a source of major concern as it is also affecting sporting activities.
