A Lagos-based football organiser, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi has released event schedules for the year 2025.
In the programme schedules, the organiser outlined seven football competitions that would organise in year 2025 and called on club owners, coaches, referees, media and fans to prepare their minds for the following events.
According to him, the U-10 Prince Gas football tournament will kick off from January through February at the proposed palace playground, Igando while 14th edition of Olori Hadijat female memorial tournament would commence thereafter.
Gbadamosi disclosed that Ramadan Cup 2025 would hold this year and to be sponsored by chief Iyk Madu Obi.During the Ramadan period,the organiser would also begin U-15 Ramadan Cup to be sponsored by chief kazeem Bakinson.
Another competition that would hold later in the year is Ileya Cup which to be sponsored by Mr kudus kasali. The tournament would hold at proposed palace playground,Igando and Seamoriw Sport Center, ikotun Lagos.
The third edition of Cardinal Odunmbaku Gold Cup male and female categories would hold later in the year and to be sponsored by Iyk Madu Obi.
The programme schedules also reads that 12th edition of Prince Gas U- 15 and 17 Cup as well as 1st Oba Onisheri Cup would come up later in the year.
While thanking his football stakeholders who supported his programmes in year 2024,Gbadamosi promised better organisation in year 2025.

“However, it is my pleasure to appreciate all football clubs for their participations in our last year also to say a big thank you to everyone including the coaches and club owners.
“In addition to that, I will like to apologize to any team or individual that might offended during our outings last year.whatever I have done wrong let them take it with a spirit of sportsmanship and let’s forge ahead for a better and a sweet relationship this year.
“Finally, in view of the above schedule for this year’s competitions, I want to urge all participating teams to please abide by th rules and regulations governing the organization also to stay away from football malpractices,” he said.
He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr Frut, football enthusiasts, Chief Iyk Madu Obi and Kudus Kasali for their unwavering support given him throughout last year.
Meanwhile, registration is ongoing for Prince Gas U-10 Cup and Ramadan Cup. The two tournament hold on January and February at Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
