Lagos FA Pre-Season: It Is Not Over For Tradesafe, Says Coach Adeshina

Lagos FA Pre-Season

BY SUNDAY AKINTOYE

Head Coach of Tradesafe Football Club, Ademola Adeshina says they can still qualify following a barren draw played with Emmydinho Football Club in the ongoing Lagos FA pre season tournament.

Tradesafe failed to win their opponents early on Tuesday which put them in a tight corner on the table with a point in two matches.

The tournament, which started on Monday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium, is featuring 16 teams from the NLO and NNL teams in the state.

Tradesafe lost 0-1 to AS Racine in their opening match on Monday and drew their second match with Emmydinho, but the chance of the NNL team to qualify for the quarter final stage is still hang in balance.

Tradesafe have one point out of their two matches, and they need to win their last match against BYT Wednesday afternoon and wait for the outcome of another match in their group.

Adeshina said the players and coaching crew are sad with today’s outcome but remains optimistic that Tradesafe can still qualify despite having one point in two matches.

“It is not over for us. We are still in the race despite our position on the table. We just have to win our last game and wait for the outcome of other matches to determine our fate,” he said.
