Real Sapphire Football Club are first casualty of the ongoing Lagos FA Pre Season tournament taking place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena formally known as Onikan Stadium.
Broad City this afternoon defeated Real Sapphire 1-0 to book a place in the quarter final.Broad City humbled Lekki United 3-0 in their opening match to garner six points in their group.
Broad City have joined First Bank FC in the quarter final stage.
This is not the best of time for Real Sapphire after they failed to honour their opening match and narrowly lost to Broad City.Real Sapphire have zero point in their two matches and they stand no chance of qualifying for the next stage.
Ikorodu City also suffered a defeat today following their 1-2 loss to Magic Stars.With this defeat, Ikorodu boys have three points and they need outright victory against Buruj on Wednesday if they want to qualify for the next stage.
