Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club will face Burna Boys Football Club in the ongoing Lagos State Challenge Cup popularly known as Lagos FA Cup.
Both teams would clash on Monday morning by 10:am at the Maracana Sports center,Ajegunle.
Prince Kazeem Eletu boys who are playing state FA Cup for the first time would face another tough encounter against Burna Boys who are owned by popular singer and songwriter,Damini Ebunoluwa popularly known as Burna Boy.
A winner in the encounter would move to the second round of the biggest football competition in the state.
Meanwhile Prince Kazeem Eletu boys defeated Innovator FC 3-2 in their first match.A match that Eletu boys gave a good account of themselves.
Eletu boys who are pride of Lagos would face another Herculean task against their opponents tomorrow.The match would be exciting one as both teams have the same pattern of play.
On the other hand,Burna Boys also won their opening match and they are coming to cause upset in the FA Cup.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s clash, Eletu team manager, Eletu Muftau admonished the players not to underrate their opponents noting that FA Cup is full of upset and surprises.
“Like I always said FA Cup is full of upset and we are aware of the threat our opponents pose to us.Burna Boys are good side,we respect them but we are not afraid of them.
“The coaching crew have identified the grey areas of our team in the first match and they are working tirelessly to ensure that our team come out victorious.
“We want to remain in this competition and the management is doing everything possible to make sure that the players are in good frame of mind to go for victory in their next match.On behalf of club Chairman, Prince Kazeem Eletu, I wish our players all the best in tomorrow’s game,” he said.
