Chief Executive Officer of Cloud Sports, Sheriff Tajudeen, has revealed what the participants of the 2026 Lagos FA Cup would stand to benefit from during the biggest football tournament in the state.
Tajudeen said this at the Lagos FA Cup draws held on Tuesday at the Indoor Hall of National Stadium,Surulere, Lagos.
The much anticipated football tournament would kick off on Sunday across various centres in the state.
Tajudeen whose company is sponsoring this year’s Lagos FA Cup confirmed that all the participating teams would be given three balls each and clubs would be enjoying live streaming throughout the tournament courtesy of Cloud Sports.
“We have agreed to give three balls to each team during the tournament and we have also concluded plan to live streaming all the matches for the fans to watch it anywhere they are in the world.
“In terms of price money,we have increased the price money against what the winners used to collect in the past.I believe Cloud Sports is going to make sure that this year’s Lagos FA Cup would be the best in terms of organisation and cordianation,”he said.
On his expectations, Tajudeen said he expects nothing less than good organisation, officiating and best media coverage.He acknowledged the role of media in football development and admonished the journalists to give their best in covering the tournament.
He however said the cloud Sports is ready to make this year’s Lagos FA Cup a memorable one and tasked other football stakeholders to play their role to make the biggest football tournament a successful one.
