Organisers of Lagos State Challenge Cup says they are fully ready and put necessary things in place to make this year’s Lagos FA Cup Finals glamorous and exciting one.
Secretary of Lagos State Football Association, Rabiu-Okikioposu Akeem confirmed to our correspondent on Saturday afternoon that the fans should expect a memorable Lagos FA Cup Finals saying that they are planning to make this year’s edition a carnival, fun and exciting one for the football fans.
“This is biggest football tournament in the state and we are planning to make this year’s edition an exciting one not for the finalists alone but football fans.
“It is not going to be a dull finals but we want to make it a carnival where football coaches, fans, club owners and other football stakeholders would enjoy every moment of the game,”he said.
In the male final category, Inter Lagos would clash with defending champions, Ikorodu City, by 4pm while FC Robo Queens battle Danaaz Ladies by 1pm in the female category.
Meanwhile Absolute Lagos has promised to give the winners in each category the sum of N500,000 while runner up would pocket N300,000.
